Explorer Begins Final Expedition in the Black Sea

According to The Day, explorer Bob Ballard has commenced his last expeditions in the Black and Mediterranean seas. Along with his team of scientists, he has discovered more than 50 ancient shipwrecks and their cargo, explored undersea volcanoes, geological features and marine life, and even found a World War II Italian plane during the previous 13 summers. The last expedition in this area started on Thursday. The tam is using the exploration vessel (E/V) Nautilus. After this expedition the explorer will turn his attention to exploring the Caribbean Sea, and the Pacific and Indian oceans afterwards. Teachers and high school student are accompanying the 100 scientists and engineers aboard the Nautilus.
